I’m a Clickety Clack
After ‘Insects’ by Cath Bloomfield
I’m a clickety clack snap snap
With a zzzzzig zag
In emerald, fuschia and black
What a riot! My awkward bones akimbo
Like a teenager with a weird dress sense
Perhaps I’m a glam rocker
Like David Bowie
With glitzy bits and space shells
A psychedelic misfit
Or a genetic improbability
With horns and wings and teeth and hair
As if I couldn’t make up my mind
So I tried everything
